One in Oshawa a few years back came down the Oshawa crrek to the golf course and into someone's back yard. It was tranq'd and moved out. It was a just around the time the season was reopenened in south central ontario region.
I thought the cops had shot that one because it was making a mess of the course and was heading for Rossland Road and traffic. Also another one hit by a car about 4 to 5 years ago in Oshawa around corner of Wison and Beatrice area. The topic moose,I heard was around 115 and Porter Road area. Appparently it had been seen on the Black Diamond Golf Course a few times. |

The sad part about the young bull moose that came into peterborough at the asburnham campground was that it was relocated only a 1/2 hour north east of Peterborough and someone with more rights than you and I shot it from the road out of season without a tag.
Sadly I saw photos of the proof. A cow has frequented area east of ptbo the last few years...... |

Its amazing how they kill or relocate these animals.. Bears use to roam all over Ontario. Now they treat it as if they should stay up north. :\
Although I believe its part of the bigger citys down here. _______________________________________________________________________ BOW HUNTER 08 Diamond Justice Exalibur Exomag
